Children & Youth Mental Health Awareness Day Event
May 9 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
This event will feature an open house format with 30 resource tables from various community organizations that support children & youth overall wellness. (including Annapolis Pediatrics Behavioral Health Department)
There will be a short presentation from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and several educational & wellness activities will also run through the evening.
Activities include chair massages (ongoing between 6pm & 8pm); Jazzercise introductory sessions (6:15pm; 6:45pm; & 7:15pm); Talk Saves Lives sessions (6:30pm & 7:15pm); Food, Mood, & Attitude sessions (6:30pm & 7:15pm); and Mental Wellness Vision Board activity (ongoing between 6pm & 8pm).
The event and all sessions are free to the public with light snacks and refreshments provided.
