Please help us close out Child Abuse Awareness Month by joining The Blue Ribbon Project’s Third Annual Open House to be held on Sunday, April 28th from 11am until 4pm. Last year was an incredible experience with a wonderful turnout and they plan on making this year even bigger and better! There will have plenty of family friendly events and activities taking place…such as a bouncy house, face painting, book giveaways, food, refreshments, Police and Fire Department Demonstrations and things for the entire family. Each day there are new things being added and it will be a great time for the entire family.

The Blue Ribbon Project will have displays about each of their programs as well as tours of their facility in Crownsville. Come out and see what it’s all about and learn how you can make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in our community as well as local foster youth.

There will also be a multitude of vendors on hand that work with children in our community (including Annapolis Pediatrics!) as well as other non-profits, businesses, and organizations.

Directions to the Blue Ribbon Project:

From Annapolis:

Take Generals Highway past Annapolis Mall and continue past the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. After the fairgrounds, the next traffic signal is Crownsville Road. Follow these signs on to Community Place. Follow our signs to parking for the Open House

From points north:

Take I-97 South to the Crownsville exit (Exit 5). From this exit, continue straight on to Route 178 and continue towards the county fairgrounds.
